A billing screen is judged at a counter with four people waiting, when the customer at the front wants a different size, half in cash and half by UPI, and the bill in a company name for GST. The fastest operators never touch a mouse — any screen that requires pointing has capped its own throughput.
For distributors, the day closes by agreeing three numbers: what left the godown, what was billed, and what came back as cash or credit. When they disagree, the gap is almost always goods on a van that nobody has modelled as a stock location.
